About Help Me Unscramble
Help Me Unscramble is a small set of free letter and word tools — handy for word games like Scrabble and Words With Friends, or just building vocabulary.
The Word Finder takes the letters you have and shows every valid word that can be made from some or all of them, filterable by length and by the letter a word starts or ends with.
The Anagram Solver takes a full set of letters and shows every word that's an exact rearrangement of all of them.
The Random Word Generator picks one or more random dictionary words for you, with an optional length filter — no letters required.
The Wordle Solver takes the green/yellow/gray feedback from your Wordle guesses and shows every word that still fits.
The Crossword Solver takes a pattern like "c?t??" — using "?" for each unknown letter — and shows every word that fits.
The Palindrome Finder & Checker tells you instantly whether a word or phrase reads the same backwards, and can browse the dictionary for palindromic words by length.
Most tools also let you switch the word list from "Common" to "Extended" for a larger set of valid words, and clicking any result word shows its dictionary definition — looked up instantly from data bundled with the site, with no external lookup involved.
The site is intentionally lightweight: everything runs in your browser with no accounts, no downloads, and no tracking beyond basic, privacy-respecting analytics.
Word lists and definitions come from the public-domain ENABLE and SCOWL word lists and the Princeton WordNet database — see ENABLE, SCOWL, and WordNet for details, or the project's third-party notices for full license text.
